Dr. Mel MorriS

I have always been enamored with the intricacies of the human body.  After discovering chiropractic after a sports injury in my early twenties, I knew I had found my calling.  The combination of art, science and philosophy to facilitate a natural healing environment resonated deeply.  This sent me on a journey to earn my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University in Atlanta, GA.

I grew up always playing a sport- softball, field hockey and competitive swimming kept me busy each season until I started training for half marathons and Tough Mudder races. During training was the first time I "threw my back out" which led me to my very first chiropractic adjustment.  Being such an active person I never thought something like this would happen to me, but I am so grateful for everything I learned as both an athlete and a patient that led me to being the practitioner I am today!

My education background is in exercise science where I learned Functional Movement Screening and kenisology taping. I continued my sports injury knowledge by becoming GRASTON certified in order to treat soft tissue concerns.

I gave birth to my two daughters during chiropractic school which allowed me to witness the power of chiropractic care for kids and during pregnancy.  I am Webster certified and believe pregnancy should be comfortable and enjoyable with the right care. I cannot wait to share my passion with you, and see what doors open as you experience life through a clear, connected nervous system!
